Sharethrough offers an in-feed monetization software for content publishers. The company’s flagship product, Sharethrough For Publishers (SFP), enables publishers to create, manage, and monetize in-feed ads across every platform. Their advertiser-focused product, The Sharethrough Advertising Exchange (STX), is the world's first exchange built for the modern Internet. It allows Fortune 1000 brands and their agencies to drive engagement towards meaningful brand content on premium websites.

Meaningful Content Fund
We collaborated with Sharethrough’s internal team to design and build MeaningfulContent.org. The site serves up some of the most beautiful, informative and heart-warming stories across the Internet, and each hand-curated piece of content receives a big traffic boost from Sharethrough’s native advertising network. In total, the Meaningful Content Fund (MCF) plans to award $1 million in content distribution grants. Big media outlets took notice: MCF appeared in Inc., Fast Company and PandoDaily.
The Sharethrough Advertising Exchange (STX)
STX is a real-time, auction-based platform for brand marketers to distribute brand content via in-feed, native ads across the web. For this project, the Gaslight team became a tightly knit extension of Sharethrough’s in-house engineering team: Adding new features requested by users, creating more tools for publishers, making the code easier to manage and more. This partnership helped clear a development backlog and add ongoing capacity to Sharethrough’s development staff.
Native Advertising Leaderboard
The Native Advertising Leaderboard tracks and ranks the most successful branded content efforts online. We worked with Sharethrough to design and build the site and create an algorithm that successfully identifies breakout native advertising. The improved algorithm normalizes traffic and social shares against a given site’s averages, so the leaderboard captures branded content stars from a wide range of brands and publishers.
