Account Executive

Reports to: CEO

Purpose

Gaslight values developing strong partnerships with our clients and the foundation for that partnership is laid in the sales process. The account executive's job is to leverage a consultative, value-based sales approach. We expect the account executive to quickly understand a prospect’s business, how the software project adds value, and work with the team to craft a solution that allows them to recognize that value as quickly as possible.

Traits of a Gaslight Account Executive

  • Identify target clients and manage the lead generation strategy
  • Meet face-to-face with prospects and customers to identify opportunities to leverage Gaslight’s capabilities
  • Identify all stakeholders in decision making process
  • Uncover needs by utilizing consultative selling approach
  • Develop core understanding of the customer’s technical needs and tailor strategy and solutions to meet those needs
  • Interface and collaborate with internal resources to facilitate solution development
  • Present solutions and close sales by utilizing strong communication and closing skills
  • Maintain awareness of market conditions and competitor’s products and pricing
  • Serve as a conduit to provide information to management regarding new technological needs or capabilities
  • Demonstrate ability to forecast sales to assist with business planning
  • Provide weekly feedback to CEO regarding progress on current business activity and solutions to obstacles preventing progress on goals

Given our hands-on approach and the high value we place on in-person collaboration, we’re only entertaining applicants willing to work full-time in our office. Relocation expenses may be available if you’re moving from out of state.
